Celebrate the start of UCL Students’ Union’s Disability History Month with an online launch event on 24 November.

Join us for a panel discussion featuring UCL students and staff exploring the question:
“What would radical accessibility look like at UCL?”

This event marks the beginning of a month of activities celebrating disability history, culture, and community at UCL.

Panel members include:

  • Ben Watson, Head of Digital Accessibility
  • Danilo Paganelli, Disabled Students Officer
  • Mattie Moran, Wheelchair Basketball, Team UCL
  • Ruqaiya Asim, Award Winning Blind Artist and Disability Advocate
  • Kathryn Aedy, Inclusive Design Specialist
  • Professor Victoria Showunmi, Interdisciplinary Studies in Gender, Race and Identity, Vice Dean EDI
  • & chairing the talk will be Eda Yildirimkaya, Equity & Inclusion Officer
