What you’re studying now doesn’t need to determine where you’ll end up. Many people build meaningful futures through exploration, experimentation and unexpected turns - and JJ Khun’s story is a brilliant example of that.
In this reflective conversation, JJ shares his own non‑linear path: moving between the corporate world, the public and charity sectors, music, the arts, and eventually into community‑centred work. His journey shows how following your interests, trying things out and embracing detours can lead to a career that feels purposeful and authentic.
This session is designed for students who are exploring their future, feeling uncertain about their direction, or simply curious about how careers really unfold. You’ll hear honest insights about navigating change, building confidence, and making choices that align with your values - not just expectations.
There will be plenty of space for questions, conversation and reflection.
Skill focus: Confidence, Curiosity
