- Hosted by MODO Fashion Society
Ever wondered what goes into a magazine-worthy photoshoot before the camera even comes out? Join us for a hands-on workshop on planning and producing a shoot from start to finish.
This workshop is open to photographers and stylists who are, or would like to be, involved in running photoshoots for MODO’s magazine. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity and your ideas.
What we’ll cover:
- Concept development: shaping your theme and narrative, choosing a location, planning the styling and gathering visual references
- Pre-production: location scouting, casting, sourcing outfits (from charity shops to Vinted, including buying and returning) and building a production deck with moodboards, shot lists and mockups
- On-set production: structuring your day with call sheets, managing outfit changes and transport, and keeping your crew looked after so the shoot is a safe and positive space
Whether you’re hoping to pitch your own shoot or just want to see how it all comes together, you’ll leave with the tools to bring your ideas to life.
