Welcome to UCLCMC!!!
On October 5th we will be hosting a welcome talk to (re)introduce our fabulous society to new and returning members.
What is UCLCMC?
We are UCL's one and only climbing and mountaineering society! Over 150 members of all climbing abilities and from all backgrounds sign up with us each year. Together we learn and practice bouldering/roped climbing, both indoors and outdoors, and connect with a variety of like-minded people.
The community we have built over the years is our absolute pride and joy! Our members always look out for each other and are guaranteed to uplift you during climbing and beyond. All our returning members concur that their time with UCLCMC helped them make lifelong friendships as well as life-changing memories!
The club also takes safety and inclusivity extremely seriously - we are Pride in Sports accredited and have signed the Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment Pledge.
Why should I come?
Regardless of previous experience with climbing/mountaineering UCLCMC will welcome you with open arms! Unsure if UCLCMC is the right fit for you? Come along and find out what we have to offer!
For those who are new to the sport we host taster sessions to introduce you to the joys of bouldering and help you meet other likeminded people. For climbers with pleanty of experience and a competitive nature we have a comp team with open try outs. We also meet for weekly climbing sessions and other fun socials all throughout the year for all!!

- Any questions?! - If you're curious about any aspect of climbing committee and previous members will be more than happy to answer your questions.
