The plan:
We’ll be bouldering from 5pm to around 8pm, this is very free flow, come whenever and stay till whenever - message on our group chat and/or look for our friendly committee and older members in purple ‘climb ucl!’ t-shirts to find us !
Afterwards, we go to the nearby pub, The brownswood, to chat and catch up :)

New to climbing but wanting to try?
So glad to hear that, how exciting! Our friendly committee and older members of the club will be there in Purple t-shirts, to give u pointers and answer any questions :))

💵 how much does it cost?
Student entry to the centre is £9.50 before 5pm and £11.50 after 5pm.
Climbing shoe rentals are £4 if needed, rented from the castle shop :)
🚌 How do I get there?
From UCL main campus:
- take the piccadilly line from Russell square tube station (~10 mins walk from campus) to Manor house station
- The Castle climbing centre is a short walk from Manor house (~5 mins), down Green Lanes
🧗♀️What do I need to wear?
Clothes you feel comfortable in and able to move around easily is ideal, such as athlete clothes, trackies, leggings or shorts and a tshirt (FYI. the centre is fairly cold in the winter so bring a jumper or long sleeve in case!)
We have some training from the BMC to support different mobility needs in a climbing setting! Please get in contact through our MS form on the UCLCMC home page and we can have a chat about what we can do to facilitate climbing for you :)
