UCL MedTech x Imperial MedTech Founders Academy: Applications Open!

Founders Academy 2026 is here, and this year it’s bigger than ever 🫀⚙️

Imperial College MedTech Society and UCL MedTech Society are joining in partnership with Christian Kumar (Founder & CEO, Capital Kinetics; CEO, MedTech Makers Lab), to run a hands-on programme that takes healthcare and MedTech ideas from rough concept to a live pitch.

🔹 ~50 students across Imperial & UCL
🔹 5-person interdisciplinary teams: clinical, engineering, science & business
🔹 5 sessions: Ideation → Prototyping → Regulation & Funding → Pitch Prep → Final Pitches
🔹 Mentorship, regulatory & IP guidance, investor intros, prizes and funding support
