🎤 Taster Workshop 1: Find Your Voice — Your First 60 Seconds
Ever been told to "just speak up" and had no idea where to start? This is the session for you.
In our first workshop of the year, you'll learn how to get one clear idea across in under a minute: pick the single point you want people to remember, back it up with one example, and say it without apologising for speaking.
No spotlight, no pressure. You'll start by chatting with a partner, then try it in a small group. If you're feeling brave, you can volunteer to speak to the whole room, but nobody will be pushed on stage on their first visit.
You'll also get a taste of how we give feedback: friendly and supportive, with a chance to have a second go and see yourself improve on the spot.
Whether you're a confident talker or someone who'd "rather die than present", you belong here. No experience needed.
