Curious about public speaking but not sure where to start? Come along to our taster evening. It's relaxed and friendly, and no experience is needed.
What's on:
🗣️ Meet the committee. Ask us anything in an open Q&A: what the society does, who it's for, and how to get involved.
📆 The year ahead. A quick look at what we have planned for 2026–27, including our weekly Tuesday sessions (to be confirmed), socials, and competitions.
🐺 Mafia / Werewolf. Then we play a social deduction game. Bluff, persuade, and read the room to work out who's lying. It's public speaking practice without it feeling like practice.
🤝 Meet new people. There's time throughout to chat and get to know other members, whether you're a confident speaker or a nervous first-timer.
