Give It a Hear (Taster)

Curious about what audiology is really about? Come along to our taster session to find out why we started the society, meet some new people, and get a taste of the many sides of audiology!

The session includes fun icebreakers to get everyone settled in, followed by mini games and interactive activities. These games will revolve around the everyday experiences of people with hearing loss, discover some surprising facts that might change the way you think about hearing, and get you involved in hands-on activities that are related to your daily life!

Whether you already know a little about audiology or have absolutely no idea what it is, there’s something for everyone. Our aim is to show just how broad and fascinating audiology can be, how it connects with other disciplines, and hopefully leave you thinking, “wait… there’s so much more to this!
