Whether you're brand new to UCL or a returning GenSoc regular, come join us for a relaxed Meet the Committee Picnic and kick off the year with good vibes, friendly faces, and some genetics-flavored fun! 🌿🧬
This picnic is the perfect chance to:
- 💬 Meet the committee and learn what we have planned for the year (hint: internship panel, lab visits, jounral club led by PhD students about Gene and nucleic acid therapies, etc)
- 🧑🤝🧑 Make friends from all year levels and degrees. Speed Friending – Life Sciences Student Edition. Share your answers to the fun bio/genetics questions!
- 🎲 Play fun science-themed games like Charades with Biology Terms
- 🪢 Science trivia to earn beads for making your own genetic bracelet
- 🌞 Soak up the sun (hopefully!) and enjoy free snacks, good chats, and a sense of belonging in a welcoming community of curious minds
