Ready to test your robotics skills with hardware? Work in teams of up to 6 to build and programme an autonomous sumo robot, designed to detect opponents, navigate the arena and push other robots out of the ring!

We'll provide everything you need, including Arduino controllers, motors, sensors, wheels and interchangeable bumpers. You'll assemble your robot, experiment with different designs and develop your own autonomous strategy before competing in a tournament against other teams.

No previous competition experience is required! The challenge is designed to be accessible to anyone who has taken part in our Arduino workshops, with plenty of opportunities to learn about electronics, mechanical design and programming along the way.

What's included?

- All robot components and assembly materials.
- A dedicated sumo arena for testing and competition.
- Snacks and refreshments throughout the event.
- Prizes for the winning teams!

Special feature: Thanks to our sponsor, Zymix, you'll also get the opportunity to see and interact with Unitree G1 humanoid robots!

Build your robot, programme it and battle to be the last standing sumo robot.
