Welcome to SSEES!
Despite the fact that our Freshers' Week celebrations may be over, the hangovers most certainly aren't and neither are we! This week, we have three events planned as studies commence, with this one being our final but biggest one! 🎉
Join us as partner with the UCL LGBTQ+ Network and the Students' Union UCL International Student Network to deliver a night to celebrate UCL's diverse student community at Mully's Basement Bar! 🍸
The night is free to attend with no registration required, and it will feature community performances, karaoke, a pub quiz with prizes, as well as songs from international artists: you can even request your own! 🎵
The event will allow you to get acquainted with not just student nightlife at UCL, but also with your SSEES Society committee, your Students' Union UCL student officers, and many other of your fellow students! 🤝
Whilst attending the event is completely free, the event will also feature a fundraiser for the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. If you would like to make a donation, please click here! 🇺🇦
Important Information!
- Whilst entry is free, drinks are not and a valid form of ID is required due to the presence of alcohol.
- Due to the presence of alcohol, this event is only for 18+ individuals.
- If you have any allergies, please inform us prior to attending the event.
- We expect all attendees to abide by both UCL's and the Student Union's Code of Conduct.
- Anyone who isn't a student at UCL must be accompanied by and signed in by a UCL student who has a valid UCL ID: freshers who have yet to receive their ID card may show their enrolment email instead. UK students are welcome so long as they have a valid student ID.
There is a permanent ramp leading into the Lewis Building entrance on the Gower Place side. Inside, there is a public lift next to the stairs that goes directly down to Mully's Basement Bar on level "B2". The building's interior also features wide double doors at the lift exit and level access for accessible transit.
