Welcome to SSEES Society! We are the student-run departmental society for UCL's School of Slavonic & East European Studies, one of the world's largest research institutions of Central and Eastern Europe. Much of our work as a society involves hosting a variety of events for the SSEES community, including lectures, career events, socials, and more! We are the centre of student life at SSEES and the proud home of Central and Eastern European culture in the heart of UCL!
What we do:
- Hold exclusive career networking events with high-profile guests such as dignitaries and industry professionals
- Host social events including game nights, cocktail parties, film nights, and more
- Represent you and other SSEES students to voice your wishes and concerns
- Deliver academic talks and lectures from those at the forefront of contemporary affairs
- Celebrate events such as SSEES-Mas and our department's birthday
