UCL Women's Hockey Shortlisted for National Award
Great news! UCL Women's Hockey have been nominated for Club of the Year in this year's BUCS awards.The award recognises a club that has demonstrated a commitment to development through innovative and proactive projects and partnerships, resulting in increased participation, inclusion and diversity in its membership as well as a better student experience for it's members.
Building Bridges and Co-designing Learning
On  3 June, UCL students and staff met with local volunteer recruiters and community organisations to design new volunteer roles that UCL students could relate to their academic studies. It was a busy, creative networking event with over 50 people sharing ideas on how to better link up students and charities.
Student-Led Volunteering Co-creation event
The Volunteering Service hosted their first Student-Led Volunteering Co-creation Event on Thursday 6 June where local charities had the chance to discuss ideas for community projects with UCL students, in the hopes of creating a new Student-Led Volunteering Project.
