Club & Society memberships
If you wish to make a complaint about how you have been treated by a member of a club or society, or about the activities a club or society is undertaking, please visit and complete a complaint form here.
Under 18s require specific permission from parents or guardians to take part in Club or Society activity - for more information and to upload requests to join student groups please go complete the webform here.
Refunds for club/society memberships
If you would like to request a refund from a club or society please initially try to resolve any issue informally with the club/society's President.

Bloomsbury Fitness memberships
Memberships are strictly non-transferable and non-refundable.
For safety and insurance purposes, membership is conditional on the satisfactory completion of the PARQ or on the production of a doctor's letter stating that it is safe for the applicant to participate in activities at Bloomsbury Fitness. If you are unable to satisfy this condition your membership will be refunded.

Orders & Pricing
All orders are subject to product availability & our confirmation of the order price.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. If this does happen, a member of staff will be in touch as soon as possible to explain why. If we discover an issue during the processing of your order, a member of staff will be in touch with you via email. If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, and we receive no response within 10 working days, the order will be cancelled.
If we discover an error in the pricing of your order, a member of staff will be in contact with you to reconfirm your order (at the correct price) or cancel it. Where no response is received within 10 working days, the order will be cancelled.
All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
Orders can be dispatched within the UK & worldwide. Shipping options are displayed at checkout, and the shipping cost is calculated based on the contents of your order. Large international orders may require a customised shipping fee to be paid to reflect higher shipping costs. If this is the case, a member of staff will be in contact with you.
No order will be dispatched until all order & shipping costs have been paid in full.
Whilst we aim to dispatch all orders within 3-5 working days of purchase, this cannot be guaranteed.
Please note that international orders may be subject to VAT/customs charges upon delivery. Payment of these charges is the responsibility of the customer & we cannot be held liable for these charges.
Collection of click & collect orders is only possible during the stated hours. We reserve the right to refuse to hand over an order if the correct order number & ID in the name of the customer cannot be produced at the point of collection.
Returns & Exchanges
Guidance on returns & exchanges is available here.
We are happy to accept returns & exchanges within 28 days of purchase (or longer at our discretion, where this has been agreed in advance by a member of staff). All items must be returned in their original condition, with all tags still attached.
Please note that we do not cover return postage costs, and you may be asked to pay an additional fee for an exchange to cover the additional postage cost.
Where requested, and the item is returned to us as described above, a full refund (not including shipping fees) will be issued to the original payment method. We aim to process refunds within 5 working days of receiving the returned item.
We may refuse to issue a refund or exchange:
- If an item is returned to us used, damaged, or in an unsaleable condition.
- If the item returned to us is not the same as what you received.
- If you have returned items to us after the returns period has passed.
If we refuse a return, a refund will not be issued and the item will be sent back to you (at your expense). Alternatively (at our full discretion), we may choose to issue a partial refund to reflect any decrease in value of the item.
Exchanges are subject to the availability of your desired replacement product at the time we receive the original item.

The above refund & returns policy is limited to goods sold online by the Students’ Union Shop and does not apply to sports kit and clothing associated with Sports Clubs, Societies, Networks or other student groups or events.
Events tickets sold through this website are issued on behalf of Students' Union UCL and are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
- Tickets are not refundable.
- Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain.
- Admission to events will not be allowed without a valid ticket.
- Any non-named guests must be present at time of entry.
- Students' Union UCL and their representatives and or the venues used reserves the right to refuse admission, and may, on occasions conduct security searches.
- Please check all your tickets on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
- Students' Union UCL reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of events due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
- Students' Union UCL cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to events.

These terms and conditions shall apply to all transactions conducted through this website. Read them before you place an order and we also recommend that you print out a copy for your records. Please note that in these terms and conditions "you", "your", "yours" and "yourself" are references to any person ordering tickets from the website, and "we", "our" and "ours" are references to us the website.
We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Any changes will apply to subsequent orders.
When placing an order for tickets you must make sure all details submitted are accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you submit erroneous details then you may not receive the correct order at the correct email address.
When you place an order you are offering to purchase tickets subject to these Terms and Conditions. We will not be bound to supply any tickets ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order. We are entitled to reject an order, and if we do so we will inform you that we have rejected it and also the reason for rejecting it.
Tickets are sent as an order number in a confirmation email, which you must use as stated on the email. You must also show valid proof of ID to redeem entry into the event, or to collect physical tickets from our box office.
Ticket refunds and cancellations
Tickets can only be refunded if the event has been cancelled or moved to another date. All refunds will be at the ticket value of booking.
All tickets are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the tickets ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. Where tickets are unavailable for any reason, we may propose to provide you with substitute tickets of equivalent quality and price. Should any tickets ordered not be available or any substitute tickets not be to your reasonable satisfaction, we ask that you return the tickets to us at your expense. If you have already paid for the substituted tickets or any tickets that are not available (for example, where you have paid by personal cheque), a full refund of the purchase price will be given. Please note that booking fees are NOT refundable.
We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of tickets is the price in force at the time of us accepting your order. If a ticket has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that ticket, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the tickets, a full refund will be issued.
