What to expect at This Girl Can: Fencing!
As part of This Girl Can Week, UCL Fencing Club are running a women’s fencing session aimed at encouraging more women to try fencing in a relaxed and supportive setting. This session is open to women of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced fencers. The session will be led by a qualified coach, with support from experienced club members, allowing everyone attending to try fencing, build confidence, and learn alongside one another. All fencing equipment will be provided by the club.

Location: Mandela Studio, Team UCL Gym
Accessibility: No prior fencing experience is required, and the session is suitable for a range of ability levels. All equipment will be provided! The session will be led by a coach and supported by committee members, who will be on hand to offer guidance and support throughout. Anyone with specific accessibility requirements is welcome to get in touch with [email protected] for support!
Equipment: We recommend wearing sports clothing and trainers. Please bring a water bottle with you.

This Girl Can (funded by The National Lottery) is a national campaign celebrating women being active no matter how they do it! The campaign believes that there’s no “right” way to get active. Project Active celebrates this campaign with a variety of different activities
