Here's what Phineas is about...Phineas is our biggest Union bar, and whether you're looking for a space to chill out with friends during the day, watch some sport together in the evenings or dance the night away to some live music you'll find Phineas is the place to be.

The Institute Bar
The Institute Bar & Kitchen is UCL's high-flying postgraduate bar, popular with the more seasoned crowd and a great place to stop by after work or studies. It has everything you need for a great night! Come and try a cocktail or two from our menu all available at a fraction of the price of bars on the high street.
The Huntley
Should you wonder what The Huntley is like...It’s non-studenty drinks at studenty prices. It’s a swift pint at lunch or a craft ale with a mate. It’s a know the staff, mine’s the usual, try a bit of the special on tap, home from home. Come on in and join us for a quick one!
Richard Mully's Basement Bar
This is what Mully's is all about...Situated in the basement of the Lewis’ Building at 134-136 Gower Street, The Richard Mully's Basement bar – aka “Mully’s” – is our very own underground micro-club on campus.
Travelling at Night
Travelling around London at night can seem quite daunting, especially if you’re new to the city. You’re probably familiar with the different kinds of transport available in London during the day. At night, it’s a bit different due to the service being reduced.
Safety
London is a big metropolitan city and unfortunately, that can sometimes come with risks. Whilst we hope you won't need the resources in this section, it's important that you know how to stay safe and what to do if anything does happen that threatens your personal safety.
