Hi! I'm nominating myself for Welfare Secretary as I believe that it is important for everyone to feel welcome and listened to! I have just recently joined the society this year but I genuinely care about creating a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. think one of the most important and fun parts of climbing is fostering a supportive environment and meeting new people, and I want to make sure that everyone feels comfortable, encouraged, and heard within the society—whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber. I'm always up for a chat, happy to check in on people, and I would love to introduce initiatives that promote well-being, like social climbs, buddy initiatives for new climbers, mental health awareness, and support networks within the society. If you want someone who’s passionate about both climbing and the well-being of our community, vote for me! I’d love the chance to take on this role.

Hellooo I have really enjoyed being part of UCLCMC this year and meeting so many lovely fab and friendly people. I’d love to be part of the committee next year and get more involved with the society. I’m running for welfare as it’s so important to support everyone’s safety and ensure each person in the society feels comfortable. It would be a pleasure to be a welcoming face and chat to new, and existing, students when they face any issues. Thank you! X
