I’m running as the 180 Degrees Consulting Society president as this society has been one of the highlights of my first year at UCL. As a project lead, I saw first-hand how rewarding it is to work with talented students and deliver real impact, and I want to take that to the next level.
One of the best things about 180DC is its global network—working with other universities brings fresh perspectives and exciting collaborations, and I’d love to strengthen those connections. But just as important as great projects, is making sure members enjoy the experience. I want to find projects that are not just impactful but also engaging, where teams feel genuinely excited to contribute.
Beyond consulting, I think the best societies create a real sense of community. That means socials that aren’t just the usual networking formalities but events that are both fun and insightful (yes, that is possible). Whether it’s problem-solving challenges, debates, or just good conversations over food, I want to build an environment where people learn, connect, and look forward to showing up.
I’m passionate about consulting and making an impact - but I also believe you can take things seriously without being overly serious. I’d bring leadership, energy, and a bit of personality to the role, ensuring 180DC stays the best place for students to learn, grow, and have a great time doing it.

I am standing for the position of President of UCL's 180 Degrees Consulting Society not only because of my skills and past leadership experiences that I believe will benefit my undertaking of the role, but more importantly, because of my passion for social impact and change-making. Having led my school's Lasallian Youth Movement in 2023, in addition to completing two social impact consulting projects at 180DC over this past year (as Consultant and Lead Consultant respectively), my experiences in social impact work are twofold – direct service/volunteering, as well as consulting/problem-solving for NGOs.
My main goals for UCL 180DC 2025/26 are as follows:
1. Increase collaborative efforts with other London-based 180DC branches by hosting joint events (i.e. career talks and panel sessions, socials, networking sessions).
2. Develop an industry database with UCL 180DC alumni, as well as corporate connections 180DC has worked with in the past, to aid with ease and convenience of reaching out to speakers for future events.
3. Coordinate workshops on consulting problem-solving frameworks, data analysis/visualisation for all students at the start of term.
4. Increase the scale and impact of the 180DC Annual Flagship Conference by collaborating with more career-oriented societies.
4. Continue with the main 180DC events and initiatives from the 2024/25 academic year!

My decision to run for President of UCL 180DC is driven by a desire to expand access to the society’s invaluable opportunities—enabling students to create social impact and refine consultancy skills. I aim to upskill teams, strengthen recruitment, and broaden our reach to top consultancy firms.
A tenet of my presidency would be broadening our network by engaging with UCL alumni at top consultancy firms like MBB to provide career advice and project feedback. To offer industry exposure and direct connections, top final presentations would also be pitched to these consultants.
My experience with Kids4Kids cemented 180DC’s impact—driving real change while developing key consultancy skills. This irreplaceable experience inspired me to ensure more UCL students benefit. As an English student solely pushed toward journalism or publishing, 180DC revealed the intellectual challenge and excitement of consulting. I want to share this opportunity effectively, attracting diverse talent across disciplines.
Moreover, I want to introduce training initiatives to upskill our consultants. By hosting sessions led by UCL interns at top firms, we can sharpen members' skills from project fundamentals to high-level client work.
Through my experience at OC&C Strategy Consultants and 180DC, I’ve honed collaboration, communication, and client outreach skills. As President, I will bring these to the committee, driving 180DC as a social impact powerhouse and a top training ground for aspiring consultants.
I am applying for President of 180DC UCL because I have a clear vision for the society—to expand our impact, secure high-quality consulting projects, and strengthen our presence as a leading student consultancy, while fostering a strong sense of community within the society.
My experience interviewing with EY Consulting (upcoming internship), 180DC, and The Young Consultant has given me a deep understanding of problem-solving, client engagement, and project execution. As a Team Leader at 180DC, I led a four-member team in developing a fundraising strategy for Dress for Success, aiming to increase donations by 50%. This role strengthened my leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills while also giving me insight into the challenges our consultants face. Additionally, as VP of Business Development at AIESEC UCL, an organization akin to 180DC in its international outreach, I secured partnerships, increased team engagement by 20%, and facilitated international placements, demonstrating my ability to drive organizational growth.
As President, I will expand consulting project opportunities, enhance training programs, and strengthen partnerships to boost brand awareness and industry connections. With my consulting, leadership, and strategic experience, I am ready to lead 180DC UCL to new heights and create a dynamic environment for future consultants.

I’m standing for President of UCL 180DC because I believe in the real-world impact of our projects—both for the organizations we support and for the students who develop critical problem-solving skills. Having led two projects, I’ve worked with teams from diverse academic backgrounds, navigating challenges and ensuring we delivered high-quality recommendations. From helping a BCorp launch green loans to supporting Involve Nepal in securing reconstruction funding, I’ve seen how our work translates into tangible change.
I want to build on this momentum by expanding our reach, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring every consultant gains meaningful experience. 180DC has been a defining part of my university journey, and I’m excited about the opportunity to lead the society in delivering even greater impact.

If there’s one thing consultants know, it’s that the right decisions change everything. Through my 3-pillar strategy below, I hope you see that voting for me is one of them.
- Build on Mentorship Opportunities
As someone who attended 180DC’s case club in the first term, I found the sessions to be extremely useful in providing a glimpse into the consulting industry. I will organize tailored events for first, second and third year students, addressing the specific challenges and opportunities at each stage. This approach ensures that every member receives relevant, impactful experiences. - Enhance 180DC Outreach
I hope to expand social events, discussion groups, and joint initiatives with other London-based 180DC societies to connect our members with the broader 180DC network. Additionally, I hope to leverage 180DC’s global nature by possibly pursuing cross-chapter initiatives within key projects where the social enterprise has an international presence. - Expand 180DC Event Offerings
Building on 180DC's tradition of hosting high-profile events, such as fireside chats with figures like MBB consultants, I aim to further diversify our event portfolio. By introducing wider panel discussions, we’ll provide members with comprehensive insights and possibilities to network; a direct pipeline to industry leaders and career opportunities.
To make this possible, your vote is crucial. Together, let’s make UCL’s 180DC chapter the best it can be. I value your support.
