My decision to run for President of UCL 180DC is driven by a desire to expand access to the society’s invaluable opportunities—enabling students to create social impact and refine consultancy skills. I aim to upskill teams, strengthen recruitment, and broaden our reach to top consultancy firms.

A tenet of my presidency would  be broadening our network by engaging with UCL alumni at top consultancy firms like MBB to provide career advice and project feedback. To offer industry exposure and direct connections, top final presentations would also be pitched to these consultants.

My experience with Kids4Kids cemented 180DC’s impact—driving real change while developing key consultancy skills. This irreplaceable experience inspired me to ensure more UCL students benefit. As an English student solely pushed toward journalism or publishing, 180DC revealed the intellectual challenge and excitement of consulting. I want to share this opportunity effectively, attracting diverse talent across disciplines.

Moreover, I want to introduce training initiatives to upskill our consultants. By hosting sessions led by UCL interns at top firms, we can sharpen members' skills from project fundamentals to high-level client work.

Through my experience at OC&C Strategy Consultants and 180DC, I’ve honed collaboration, communication, and client outreach skills. As President, I will bring these to the committee, driving 180DC as a social impact powerhouse and a top training ground for aspiring consultants.
