Founded in 2001, the UCL Investment Society has been built with the constant mission of equipping members with the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in finance.

We provide financial education through real-world investing experience, our mentorship programme, and our flagship Finance Conference. Top students apply to manage UCLIS’ £10,000 real money fund.

Through this process we’ve fostered UCL’s largest finance society with a community of over 1200 ambitious and diverse members.

UCL Investment Society have signed the Zero Tolerance to Sexual Harassment Pledge.

The UCL Finance Conference (UCLFC) is one of the largest and most prestigious student-led finance conference in EMEA. Organised by the UCL Investment Society since 2010, it provides a professional platform for students to engage with industry leaders across investment banking, asset management, private equity, and alternatives.

Student groups are run by UCL students and facilitated by Students’ Union UCL. The Union is an educational charity and part of how it supports the education of students at UCL is through facilitating a diverse range of opportunities for students to run, join and experience different interests, groups and activities. Each student group decides its own events, activities and views (within our risk management framework).
