Welcome to UCL GeogSoc!!
Known as one of the most prestigious GeogSocs in the country, UCL’s Geographical Society was established over a hundred years ago. This year, for the first time in our history, we are joining the UCL Students Union!
Every year our society has a full calendar of events and activities which aim to enrich your studies, social life and career prospects. From speaker events to debates to career panels, themed socials, mixers and field trips, this year we’re back and bigger than ever! We’ve got lots of exciting collaborations with other societies and universities planned, including of course our annual Winter and Summer Balls.
We cover all things Geography, from exploring the latest scientific research to putting a geographical spin on current issues. This year we want the themes and topics we cover as a Society to reflect the needs and interests of our members and so we encourage your input.
Due to the breadth of our subject, we welcome students from all disciplines and subjects, the more the merrier! We’re dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive society for everyone and will make sure all our events represent our diverse community.
