Arts for Mental Health (ARTSMH) is a non-profit association. We provide students who are interested in both arts and mental health the opportunity to explore, experience, and learn together.

We provide a diverse range of psychology and art-related activities for our members with the aim to help them maintain good mental well-being through arts as a medium and to explore the relationship between the two subjects academically.

Not only do we support students in higher education, we also collaborate with external organisations to provide HE students with leadership opportunities and evidence-informed art programmes for the community.

OUR ACTIVITIES:

1. Talks from artists, professional healthcare staff and academics

2. Reflective art workshops (we encourage students to explore and express their emotions via various art mediums) *These are not therapies, they are merely leisure activities.

3. Psychology and Art Research Summary Updates

4. Career and Volunteering Opportunity Update
