Campus to Campus Challenge

If you're looking to take part in the Campus to Campus Virtual Challenge, we've got all the information listed here on how it works.

As part of the Union's Postgraduate Summer campaign we are encouraging all UCL staff and students to walk, run or cycle between our Bloomsbury Campus and our UCL East Campus.

Why take part

1. Improve your health and wellbeing - take time away from your phone and get outdoors this summer
2. Explore campus - this challenge is a great excuse to explore London with a few mates, while checking out what campus has to offer
3. Win some great prizes for completing the challenge

How to take part

Once you have registered with Playwaze and joined the challenge gather your colleagues, friends and peers to either run walk or cycle from Bloomsbury Campus to UCL East Campus or vice versa.

Starting / finishing point at Bloomsbury: Outside the Bloomsbury Theatre Building (15 Gordon St, London WC1H 0AH)

Starting / finishing point at UCL East: Inside the Marshgate Building under the globe! (7 Sidings St, London E20 2AE)

Once you have completed the route please upload a supporting photo or video as proof of taking part. We would love to see:

• A photo of the Bloomsbury Theatre Building & a photo of the globe in the Marshgate building.
• Photos / videos of you completing the challenge
• A screenshot of the route map from a tracking app such as Strava or Komoot.

If you head to the challenge on the Playwaze app you will have the option to upload a video or photo image to support your entry. This can be selected straight from your media library on your device.

Once you have completed the route and uploaded your evidence, you will be entered into our prize draw. Each time you complete the route, you will have another entry into our prize draw. The prize draw will take place once the challenge has closed.

How to sign up

This challenge will be administered through the Playwaze app, please see instructions on how to register below:

1. Download the Playwaze app on the App Store or the Play Store or visit the Playwaze website.
2. Click register to create an account.
3. Either click on 'Find my community' or the search by and type in 'UCL Active'. Click join.
4. If you are a student please fill in your details. If you are a staff members, please click 'I am not a participant'.
5. Click on the 'Campus to Campus Virtual Challenge' and click 'Join the challenge'.
