Over the summer break we'll be making some exciting changes to our spaces in time for the 2023-24 academic year; here's everything you need to know.

What's happening?

The Hanger

We'll be expanding The Hanger, our on campus merchandise shop, to introduce even more ranges to our UCL branded clothing and accessories. The ground floor of 25 Gordon Street will be getting a complete makeover - we'll be turning the entire left side of the entrance into The Hanger and sprucing up the whole space while we're at it. Keep reading to see the new plan!

While the ground floor of 25 Gordon Street is under construction, The Hanger will be temporarily moving upstairs to Phineas on the third floor. So you still be able buy our hoodies and merch on campus before you head off home.

Stone Willy's Pizza and George Farha Café

Because of the expansion of The Hanger, Stone Willy's Pizza will be moving to be part of the menu at George Farha Café. This way, it will be conveniently located right next to The Huntley for a cheeky pint at any time of the day (we won't judge).

While Stone Willy's and George Farha Café are closed, you can still head to all our other outlets to get great food on a student-friendly budget. Take a look at the Eat, Drink, Shop page to find out which of our cafes will remain open over summer. Alternatively, the Bloomsbury Shop will remain open for all your meal deal and snack cravings.

  • Friday 19 May: Stone Willy's Pizza and George Farha Cafe close for the summer break.
  • June: The Hanger reopens in Phineas while construction on the ground floor of 25 Gordon Street begins.
