This year, to celebrate UCL's 200th birthday, we’re inviting our community to get moving in a simple, flexible and feel-good way.

You can sign up now to Project Active's UCL200 Active Minutes Challenge - your chance to build movement into your routine and try something new.

What is the UCL200 Active Minutes Challenge?

The 200 Active Minutes Challenge invites all UCL students and staff to complete 200 minutes of physical activity over two weeks from 20 July to 3 August. By signing up and logging your hours, you are contributing to our overall target of reaching 200,000 active minutes.

How do I take part?

It doesn't matter how often you exercise or what kind of movement you enjoy. This challenge is designed to be flexible and accessible to everyone. You could achieve your 200 minutes through Project Active classes, a daily walk, a gym session, a swim or anything in between - it all counts.

Simply sign up, get active in whatever way works for you, and log your minutes - it's that easy!

What activities can I get involved with?

Anything - it all counts! Whether it’s a morning run, a gym session, or simply walking around campus, any movement you do during the challenge will contribute towards your 200 minutes.

Want to make it more social or try something new? You can also get involved through our Project Active Weekly ClassesPay and Play SessionsMonthly Events or Learn to... Courses! Take a look at what’s running during the challenge and book your place.

Win prizes!

All participants who sign up and successfully reach 200 active minutes will also be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 Lifestyle Eat Gift Card.
