🏮 Join Us for an International Festival Origami Crafternoon at UCL!
Join us for a relaxed, drop-in origami workshop in collaboration with UCL’s Origami Volunteering Project (OVP).
Get creative with Students’ Union UCL as part of our International Festival celebrations! The festival will bring students together to celebrate cultures and traditions from around the world, with a special display in UCL’s Main Quad celebrating festivals of light.
✂️ What will you make?
Learn how to create simple origami decorations, such as flowers, cranes and other paper designs. Your creations will become part of a larger installation in UCL’s Main Quad, alongside illuminated lotus flowers, lanterns and fairy lights, helping to transform the space for International Festival.
🧤 What’s a Crafternoon?
Crafternoons are relaxed, creative sessions where students can meet new people, try something different and make a positive contribution to the community. They're open to everyone, regardless of experience, and are a great way to get involved in volunteering in a friendly, informal setting.
✨ Why Join In?
Help bring UCL’s International Festival to life by creating decorations that students and staff can enjoy throughout the week. You’ll also have the chance to learn a new skill, meet fellow students and discover more about the Origami Volunteering Project.
This is a drop-in session, so you can come along whenever suits you during the workshop. Materials will be provided, and no previous origami experience is needed.
