🧥 Join Us for Wrap Up London’s Coat Sorting Hub in South Woodford
As the UK weather gets colder, it's really important for everyone to stay warmer! Join us at the sorting hub to check, sort and pack donated coats to help and support people facing the cold of winter. Help Wrap Up London to ensure the donated items are good quality and warm enough to support people facing the cold this winter.
Wrap Up London is a campaign run by HandsOn London, which has donated over 250,000 coats to frontline charities since launching in 2010. This year, the campaign aims to collect and distribute 18,000 coats, supporting 100 charities working with homeless people, women in sheltered accommodation and children experiencing poverty.
🧤 What’s a Big Help Out?
Big Help Outs are fun one-off volunteering opportunities that involve a big group. It's all about small actions creating big change when we work together. At our events, you’ll always find friendly student and staff faces to make sure you feel welcome and supported.
💚 Why Join In?
Help get thousands of pre-loved winter coats ready for distribution to people who may otherwise struggle to access warm clothing. Your time will make a practical difference to people facing hardship this winter.
To support your involvement, travel expenses will be reimbursed.
By signing up, you’ve claimed a limited ticket. This ticket does not confirm your spot as we will send you an email closer to the date to let you know if you have been selected, as there are only a limited number of spots available.
