Help make Christmas special for local families!
Get into the festive spirit and help bring some Christmas magic to local families! Join us at Phineas Bar for a fun-filled day of wrapping presents, preparing toys and welcoming families to our very own Christmas Pop-Up Toy Shop.
We'll be helping local families get ready for Christmas by wrapping and organising toys for children. Families will come along to collect their gifts, and you could be the person who wrapped the present that makes their Christmas!
There'll be plenty to get involved in, from moving and sorting toys to wrapping presents, helping with festive activities and welcoming families as they arrive. It's a great opportunity to work together, meet other students and make a real difference in our local community.
No experience needed – just bring your festive spirit!
Travel and lunch expenses will be reimbursed.
🧤 What's a Big Help Out?
Big Help Outs are fun, one-off volunteering opportunities that bring together large groups of students and staff to make a positive difference in our local communities.
It's all about small actions creating big change when we work together. You'll always find friendly student and staff faces at our events to make sure you feel welcome and supported.
🎄 Why Join In?
Christmas is a special time of year, but not every family has the same opportunities to celebrate.
By volunteering, you'll help local families access toys and gifts for their children, making the festive season a little brighter.
Whether you're wrapping presents, helping families collect their toys or supporting the festive activities, you'll be playing a part in creating a welcoming and joyful experience for the community.
Plus, it's a lovely way to spend a day with fellow UCL students, get into the Christmas spirit and give something back!
