Join Us for the Sustainable Move Reuse Sorting Day in Gospel Oak
Sustainable Move is a student-led organisation with a vision: “A world where we see resources, NOT waste!” Working in partnership with Sustainable UCL and UCL Accommodation, they aim to revolutionise reuse culture within universities by redistributing surplus items to students and charities, helping reduce waste and support communities in need.
At the end of term, many reusable items are left behind during student move-out. Sustainable Move collects these surplus items and redistributes them to incoming students or donates them to charities.
We’re looking for volunteers to help sort donated items into categories ready for redistribution. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability operations and learn more about circular economy initiatives. This opportunity is student-led, with recruitment coordinated by the student organisers from Sustainable Move.
