Happy Halloween from SSEES!
Happy Halloween from SSEES Society! Every year, we host our much loved Halloween lecture, where a member of the SSEES faculty delivers a talk about something spooky from the SSEES region... 👻
This year, we are excited to announce that Professor Thomas Lorman, Associate Professor of Hungarian History and Head of HPE at SSEES, will tell us all about the history of vampires and from where their mythology originates! 🧛
Afterwards, we've prepared a social with some amazing decorations, our new merchandise, free snacks, and free alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages! 🍷
Then we will head to a pub to continue our social and prepare for a spooky night at Scala, which will be hosting a special Halloween-themed party! 🎃
This is one of the most packed and spookiest Halloween events we have ever hosted, and we're super excited to see you! Whether you're there to learn, to socialise, or to show off your costume, come and say hi! 🧙
