Doing a research degree can be lonely sometimes. You’re attached to a lab or a supervisor rather than a year group, and it’s easy to go a whole term without meeting anyone outside your own department.
So let’s fix that over a picnic. 🥪
Join us for a relaxed afternoon picnic in Regent’s Park, open to everyone on a postgraduate programme, from any faculty. No presentations, no name badges, no talking about your thesis unless you want to.
We’ll bring snacks and light lunch, so all you need to bring is yourself and a warm coat. Feel free to bring something to share if you’d like.
This event is for postgraduate students only. Please bring your UCL ID, as we’ll be checking at the meeting point. We will meet at 12:15 outside Regent’s Park station on Marylebone Road. We’ll walk into the park together and find a spot on the grass, so please be on time.
