Hair Braiding Workshop: Black History Month

Ever wanted to learn how to braid but never knew where to start?

Join us for a 90-minute hands-on hair braiding workshop in collaboration with IVY WILD, exploring the techniques, traditions and stories behind Black hair.

Working in pairs on mannequin heads, you’ll learn and practise the basics of braiding in a relaxed and supportive environment. Alongside the practical skills, we’ll explore the history and cultural significance of Black hair, and how braiding has carried identity, creativity, community and heritage across generations.

Whether you’ve never held a comb or already know your way around a braid, everyone is welcome.

All equipment will be provided. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out!
