Our Prevention and Intervention team is running a series of relaxed, creative workshops for students who have experienced sexual or gender-based violence at any point in their lives.

Together, we’ll use a range of creative activities to explore the different ways we can stay grounded, helping you build a personal toolkit of techniques, self-care practices and sources of comfort. No artistic experience is needed, and you will not be asked to share any personal experiences.

Whilst these workshops might provide therapeutic benefits, we want to be clear that these sessions are not intended to act as a therapeutic support group for processing experiences. Instead, these are spaces to spend time with other students, connect through creativity, and take part in low-pressure activities focused on grounding, wellbeing and community.

We encourage you to join us for the whole series, however you are also more than welcome to just attend one or those which suit you. Click here to explore the other sessions in this series.

In this relaxed collaging workshop, we’ll spend some time exploring the theme of self-compassion and the small acts of kindness and care that can help keep us grounded.

Using magazines, colours, images and words, we'll create personal collages reflecting the things our minds and bodies need to feel supported, cared for and recharged.
