During the taster, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to play polo, ride a horse, and practice hitting the ball, guided by one of our experienced coaches and our current club members, who will teach you how to swing the mallet, hit the ball on a wooden horse, and mount up on a polo pony to do some riding.
All necessary polo equipment, including helmets, mallets, and horses, will be provided. No riding or polo experience is required, and we welcome all levels of riders. However, we do recommend wearing hard-heeled boots and comfortable denim/leggings/jodhpurs.
Not only will you have a chance to learn the basics of polo, but you'll also have the opportunity to speak to our current Squad and Committee members, who will be available to answer any questions you have.
Tasters will be run from 13:00 - 16:00 with all welcome to travel to Silver Leys with the committee or make their own way up.
This session will be capped at 20 with the remaining doing their taster the following week on October 8th
