Join us for our first painting class of the year with Alice White!
Alice White is a tutor at the University of Arts London, and an Accredited Lecturer for the Art Society. She brings over 15 years of experience to this role, and is looking forward to connecting with you all! Suitable for people of every skill level.
Painting the elements (Water and Storms)
- Please bring in ONE PRINTED/PHOTOGRAPH IMAGE OF WATER OR STORMS for this class. Your tutor will have reference images available. ((N.B: Images on iPhones/smartphones are not recommended, as your phone could get damaged by paint))
YOU WILL:
- Learn to use cold colours to create different water effects
- Study the textures of still water, moving water, waves and foam
- Use brushes and palette knives
- Learn to use linseed oil for ‘shine’ effects
- Experiment with paint and charcoal to create ‘fog’ effects
- Learn painting secrets of Old Masters and Contemporary Artists
