UCL Medieval Society x Oxford History Society: A Day in Medieval Oxford ✧₊⁺🕯⋆.˚୨ৎ

We’re thrilled to announce a collaborative day trip with Oxford History Society! A group of around 8 UCL Medieval Society members, including our President, will be heading to Oxford for a day of history, walking, and making, hosted by our friends at Oxford History Society. Tickets are 50% off for paid members, so please send our president proof of membership on Whatsapp or on our Instagram to get the discount code!

🚌 Getting there
We’ll be travelling to Oxford together by coach (paid for by the society), accompanied by our President.

Part 1: Lunch | 12:00 to 14:00
After we've arrived, we'll have a lunch break together, to settle down and admire the scenery.

Part 2: Walking Tour of Oxford | 14:00 to 16:00
We’ll meet our hosts for a guided walking tour led by Oxford students, covering the city’s medieval sites and landmarks. The route stays on public footpaths and pavements, and no equipment is needed, so wear comfortable shoes and bring a layer in case of weather.

Part 3: Crafts Session | 16:00 to 18:00
Next, we’ll head to an Oxford History Society venue for a relaxed, creative session of doodling, scrapbooking, and writing. It’s a calm, low-key way to wind down after the walk and an opportunity to make new friends out of uni!

Committee members from both societies will be acting as stewards all day, so you’ll be in good hands.
