DMS Journal Club: Session 1 🌟
We're excited to launch the very first DMS Journal Club on Monday 12th October, 18:00–19:00 in IOE 20 Bedford Way, Room 2.06!
For our inaugural session, we'll be discussing A Comparison Between Science & Art, exploring the connections between creativity, discovery, and innovation across both disciplines. Using the discovery of cAMP and its role in signalling pathways as a case study, we'll examine how simple ideas can develop into complex and transformative ways of understanding the world.
The session will be supervised by Prof Alireza Mani, offering a fantastic opportunity to engage in discussion, ask questions, and explore the topic alongside fellow students in a relaxed and welcoming environment. 🗣️🌍
