Gain new skills, training and valuable experiences while supporting a child in your community!
At The Kids Network, we believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and inspired. We connect Little Londoners aged 8-11 with volunteer mentors who help them build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging as they transition from primary to secondary school.
Our goal is simple: to create positive, lasting change in children’s lives by connecting them with a consistent, caring mentor from their local community!
As a mentor, you will be matched with a child aged 8-11 years old, and trained to deliver weekly 1:1 sessions to help build their confidence & resilience through a series of fun experiences. Whether you’re playing games or discussing goals, you’ll be making a difference in a child’s life by developing the tools for a positive future.
Mentoring a Little Londoner can help support your professional development, with 57% of mentors reporting the programme helped them progress in their career. We will support you to develop and enhance a wide range of transferable skills.
