We're looking for three volunteers to support us prepare samosas for a Student's Union Event: The Namesake Film Screening and Curry Night

Tiffin Walli are a catering social enterprise that employs and empowers women from marginalised communities, and this is a unique opportunity to help prepare a catering order alongside fellow students and support an incredible organisation.

Duties

Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn the unique technique of samosa filling and folding, which will be used in the following day’s food service. Samosa folding is a skilled craft, and through guided, hands-on practice, you will build confidence and speed. Within two hours, you will be able to fold samosas independently and to a consistent standard, gaining a practical skill used in a real catering setting. You'll also get to learn about the incredible work that Tiffin Walli do!

Time commitment

This is a one off opportunity to support Tiffin Walli during a 2-hour workshop in their kitchen.
