Based in our Resource Centre in Victoria, this is a hands on, practical role that’s crucial in ensuring that service users can access our basic primary services when visiting us.
You will volunteer as part of a team of six volunteers, supervised by one of our Chefs. Duties include serving hot food, serving tea/coffee, making up cutlery wraps, filling condiment caddies, washing up and clearing down at the end of service. We serve between 80 - 100 people every day.
We are committed to creating a safe, non – judgmental space for everyone here at The Passage, regardless of who they are and there is an expectation that volunteers understand this and behave accordingly towards people using our services, other volunteers, visitors and members of staff.
