Help us tell the stories that keep London playful. We’re recruiting multiple volunteer writers to craft clear, engaging articles about the impact of our work and the bigger ideas behind it: children’s right to play; making London a more child-friendly city; practical business models that help charities thrive when public funding is cut; and the value of adventure playgrounds, community kitchens and community gardens for low-income families and vulnerable people.
Topics we’re commissioning (we’re also open to other community-positive themes)
- Case studies from our projects (before/after, voices from site teams and families)
- Features that raise awareness of play and children’s rights
- Explainers on funding and partnership models that keep services open
- Pieces on how design and policy choices change outcomes on the ground
- Opinion articles on city-making, community hubs and design that lasts
