Description

ROMILDAMOR Foundation is a Human Rights NGO that works to support Survivors of Human Trafficking and Gender Based Violence with Legal and Holistic support to help them to reintegrate safely back into society. Our mission is to show Love in Action by Transforming Exploited Survivors into Empowered Women.  

Duties

- Provide accurate interpretation between Brazilian Portugese and English during client meetings.
- Translate email exchanges and short written materials when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate communication with the client.
- Uphold trauma-informed and culturally sensitive practices in all interactions.

Requirements

- Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and English (oral and written).
- Professional attitude, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.

Time commitment

Start Date: As soon as possible.

Duration: Initially 12 months, with the possibility of extension upon review.
1-4 hrs/week
