Class Description:
Tai Chi is built around the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang: the harmony of complementary opposite forces in all things.
This session will include a short set of exercises that can be easily followed and completed from a static, upright standing position over a period of 10-15 minutes. The exercises will emphasise the coordination of breath with body movement, which could assist participants to feel more relaxed, refreshed and energised.
Research has suggested that Tai Chi can help reduce stress levels, improve balance, increase muscle strength in the legs, and improve general mobility and flexibility.
