Discover Restorative Yoga online!
What to expect at Project Active Restorative Yoga (Online):
Our weekly online classes are open to all UCL staff and students and are designed to be:
- Beginner friendly (no experience is needed)
- Low commitment
- Inclusive and welcoming
Class Description:
Restorative yoga is a relaxing practice that uses everyday objects to support the body in gentle, restful poses. If you don’t have yoga props, you can use items like pillows, folded blankets, towels, or couch cushions to provide comfort and stability. Chairs or walls can offer additional support for certain poses. Each position is held for several minutes, allowing the body to release tension and the mind to quiet. This accessible approach promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and encourages deep rest—making it easy to create a calming yoga experience right at home.
Go at your own pace, there is no judgement in our classes and remember all classes are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active.
