Welcome to our first Charity Tournament! We have teamed up with Baking Society to run a bake sale alongside the tournament to raise funds for Camden Food Bank! The bake sale will be available throughout the event for purchase.
Enter with friends or just by yourself! It's a completely beginner-friendly tournament where no prior experience is needed! There are 48 slots available, with 8 teams of 6 players. PLEASE ARRIVE AT 16:45 OUTSIDE THE VENUE FOR REGISTRATION.
If you and 5 others want to enter as a team, each player needs to buy their own individual ticket, and then an email should be sent to "[email protected]" stating the team name, names of who you want to play with, and their student emails. If you enter solo, you will be assigned to a random team.
The tournament consists of 2 groups of 4 teams, where each team will play in a round-robin style. After each game has been played, scores will be tallied, and then teams will play their respective teams for overall placement. Every team will have 4 guaranteed matches against other teams, with each match being best of 5, 3-minute sets.
After placements have been played, an award ceremony will happen, with pictures taken and prizes presented! The remaining time will then be used to play large social games (an estimated 1 hour), where we will explore different game modes such as "Daisychain", where you come back into the game after the person who got you out gets out themselves.
Please wear appropriate sports clothing and bring a water bottle, there are water fountains outside to drink from or refill bottles.
Any of our experienced players who enter will be playing with a handicap of NO BLOCKING and NO CATCHING.
This tournament is in good faith, and we will not tolerate any disrespect or misbehaviour against any other participant, staff, helper running the event, or equipment used. Any misbehaviour that has not been corrected after a warning has been issued will result in the culprit(s) being removed from the property.
