If you're looking to try delicious new pastries and baked goods, Fortitude Bakehouse is a must try! Fortitude Bakehouse are renown for their incredible beignets, winning the André Simon Food Award in 2021 and shortlisted for the Fortnum and Maison Food and Drink award in 2022. They offer a range of pastries, from savoury goods such as sausage rolls to vegan chocolate muffins. Beignets are sold daily at 11am.

Timings
Meet us at 10:30am in front of the student centre, from there we'll head to Fortitude Bakery by Russell Square station where you can grab a beignet or coffee. We will then head to Russell Square for a picnic! Feel free to bring a picnic blanket and extra food if you would like.
