Want to volunteer in a fun, lively Youth Project with lots of young people, different sports and other activities?
Want to gain new skills and make a difference in the life of the young people who come to Dost?
Play sport, games, do art, cook, chat with the young people and help with set up and clear up of the Club.
Volunteer with a friendly, diverse team of staff and volunteers and with young people who are outgoing and welcoming.
Duties
- To help set up and pack up Youth Club space.
- To play games with the young people
- To help make refreshments for the young people.
- To ensure that the young people are listened to and share any potential safeguarding concerns.
- To run activities with the young people, if you have any particular skills, interests you would like to share with the young people.
Training
You will need to complete a safeguarding training course if you have not done this - this can be done online in 1, 2 or 3 hours depending on the course chosen.
You will also need a current Enhanced DBS check (paid for by Dost).

Time commitment
You can volunteer at either the Monday or Thursday night Youth Club
Mondays - 6pm - 8pm - Shipman Youth Zone, E16 3JH
Thursdays - 6pm - 8pm - Newham Leisure Centre, E13 8SD
Dost also runs regular trips, activities and residentials across London and the UK, which you can volunteer at after you start volunteering at a regular session.
