Duties

Your duties will vary based on your experience, ability to use power tools, and understanding of on-site health and safety. If you have no prior experience, we will provide on-site training during your induction.

You’ll support the team with logistics and project delivery, ensuring a safe work environment. Working alongside corporate volunteers, you’ll help maintain and build new structures, which may involve landscaping, carpentry, and demolition. Part of your role is ensuring volunteers have the necessary tools and assisting them with more challenging, hands-on tasks, including overall logistics and project delivery.

Who will the volunteers be working with?
Volunteers will work closely with our project manager, playground engineers, corporate volunteers, and adventure playground staff.
Training
We will provide an assessment during the induction, followed by hands-on training under the supervision of our project manager and playground engineers. Additionally, we offer general training sessions on-site and maintenance days dedicated to volunteer students, allowing them to practice using power tools and learn proper health and safety procedures.

Time commitment

The position is fully flexible. After your induction, you’ll receive a monthly list of available projects and can select those that fit your schedule. Projects run across London from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.
