My PhD is lab-based, so when the first COVID-19 lockdown started, I was unable to continue with my research. Yet, I still worked 8h per day teaching, reading useful research papers, writing my thesis prematurely, and much more.

 In my first year of uni, I played Ultimate with UCL Frisbee which culminated in our Varsity match against King’s, in March, just before the first lockdown.

Data protection for staff
The Union is responsible for managing data about students, the organisation and its activities. This could be anything - student e-mail address sign-ups, club/society memberships, event attendances, e-mails from individual students, etc.
